I have been using Hardy gear for 50 years and I intend to leave all of this to my son but I keep hanging in here and don't want the boy (who is now 40) to have to wait that long to enjoy the pleasures of reeling in one on anything but the recently purchased Hardy reel that I bought him for his birthday. He'll have to wait for the split cane rods and other assorted equipment.
I'm only sorry that Hardy closed their shop on Pall Mall so I can't visit them in London as I used to when I travel there.
