28/07/2009 Editor of Trout & Salmon magazine, Andrew Flitcroft has named the Hardy Marksman Drifter rod as the best rod in the category for £400 plus rods in the August 2009 edition.Andrew said;
"For me, this is perfection. Probably the best rod with which I've ever fished. It cast's like a dream at any distance... I don't know how this rod could have been bettered."
